Bathed in natural light, decked out with comfortable furniture and blessed with a spacious open-plan layout, this flat in the centre of Maidenhead is perfect for anyone looking to explore the best of Berkshire. A favourite among the Edwardian upper classes who didn't have the time or inclination to travel as far as Bath, Maidenhead is on the up and up. The soon-to-open Elizabeth line will also make getting into London a breeze, with a forty-minute train ride landing you at Tottenham Court Road. Meanwhile, a visit to the nearby village of Bray is renowned for its Michelin-starred restaurants. In addition to Heston Blumenthal's Fat Duck and The Hind's Head, there's also Alain Roux's The Waterside Inn – you can't go wrong with any of them.
